1. Overview
At UpVantage, we are committed to delivering high-quality software development and performance marketing services. This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be issued for our services. By engaging our services, you agree to the terms of this policy.
2. Service Retainers & Management Fees
Monthly retainers and management fees cover strategy, setup, ongoing optimization, and reporting work performed by our team.
- Fees for work already performed are non-refundable once the billing period has started.
- If you cancel before the start of an upcoming billing period, you will not be charged for that period.
- If we fail to deliver the agreed scope of work in a given month, you may be eligible for a partial or full refund of that month's management fee, assessed on a case-by-case basis.
3. Advertising Spend
Advertising budgets paid directly to third-party platforms (such as Meta, Google, or TikTok) are governed by the refund policies of those platforms. UpVantage cannot refund media spend that has already been consumed by an advertising platform. Any unspent prepaid ad budget held by UpVantage will be refunded in full upon cancellation.
4. Software Development & Web Projects
Custom software and web development projects are billed in milestones:
- Deposits confirm your project slot and cover discovery and planning; they are non-refundable once work has begun.
- Payments for completed and approved milestones are non-refundable.
- If you cancel a project mid-milestone, you will be billed only for the work completed up to the cancellation date, and any remaining prepaid balance will be refunded.
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, contact us within 30 days of the charge in question. Please include:
- Your name and company name
- The invoice or payment reference
- The reason for the refund request
We will review your request and respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7–14 business days, depending on your bank or card provider.
6. Exceptions
Refunds will not be issued for dissatisfaction with results caused by factors outside our control, including platform policy changes, account restrictions imposed by advertising platforms, market conditions, or delays caused by the client (such as late approvals or missing assets).
